BIOGRAPHY

Our beautiful baby boy was born 8th August 2001 weighing a healthy 8lb 8oz. We thought we were really clever. At 3 years Cooper had never thrown a tantrum, repeated exactly what we said beautifully but could never answer a question, still wore bibs daily due to dribbling and had no idea about toilet training. We were referred to a paedeatrician for a developmental assessment, Cooper was diagnosed with Autism in   1 1/2 hours. A journey began for our family to educate ourselves and make the best possible life for our little boy.

With the wonderful support of our 3 boys and Cooper’s special school, we have soldiered on and have managed to have an adjusted normal kind of life.

In February 2008 Coopers walking started to become really unsteady and has rapidly declined in the past few weeks along with his small amount of speech, after numerous tests and many medical professionals on board we still have no diagnoses. It is so heartbreaking to see our little boys body giving up on life but he is still happy and we thank god every day for him. We don't know what the future holds so we need to make memories that will last forever.
